Stimulants and enhancers
Another way to attract deer to your feeder is to add flavor enhancers or attractants. A large variety are available, some with mineral contents that are beneficial to deer in addition to being an attractant.
In relative terms these products are expensive, but they are used in amounts that make their use somewhat feasable. Experimentation is probably the best way to determine which, if any, of these products will work for you. Most powder forms can be added directly to the feed you will use in your feeder, or you can experiment with a smaller amount mixed and placed on the ground before using it in your feeder.
