Mineral blocks

The relative advantage of using a mineral block in comparison to creating a ground lick is convenience.  They don't take any time to establish as a ground lick will.  You simply take the block to the desired area and leave it.  They are probably best used in areas with difficult or limited access.

Remember, as with any attractant, they work best when placed in an area with existing deer movement. Also consider all of their potential. They act as an attractant and can aid in antler development so try to maintain them year round or at least during the spring summer and fall, times when antler development occurs and you want to see more deer.
