Food plots
For many deer managers this is where the fun begins. Many considerations go into the placement, planting and maintenance of food plots. If we think in terms of the basics of whitetail management...what do we provide in terms of food, cover and water, and how is that balanced on our land, we will almost certainly make an impact on deer presence. The following sections comprise the main factors involved with a quality food plot program.
